kevin is an idiot too lewis black is one of the best. mitch was hilarious, better than most of the comedians you know(seeing how you put lewis black and dave atell im assuming all you know is comedy central comedians) but he definetly wasnt better than the legends. if he coulda a longer career than he could be named with lewis black louis ck george carlin red foxx richard pryor hell even dave chapelle(comedy central or not that nigga is hilarious.)

Louis CK…….. Another comedian who should be more well known, he is hilarious! (Also the name of one of his specials).

I got to see Mitch perform about a year before he died. Front row at the Ontario Mills Improv in California. I was laughing so hard that he actually stopped his show JUST to acknowledge me and talk to me! I was SO AMAZED that he did that, we chatted about EVERYTHING I had of his and HE was actually impressed!!!!! So much so that he had gotten a shot of Vodka for everyone at my table! He had a double, we clanked glasses and took our shots together!!!! I will NEVER forget that night, right now, typing this, I am getting goosebumps. He had actually told me to meet him at the airport so I can go on tour with him because he said he needed my laugh so everyone else knows when to laugh. I am so happy to have that experience, it is truly priceless…… RIP Mitch, you will be missed forever.

Thanks for these mitch hedberg quotes! It’s always fun to find some more mitch quotes that you haven’t heard or seen before. Here’s my favorite: “WTF is a sesame? It’s a street…It opens shit…” First heard it on youtube and now I can’t find it. I always say that though, in all situations – WTF is a sesame? Funny times.

I saw him perform in New Orleans in 2004… He was soooo damn funny!! Better than Dave Attel, Lewis Black and all the other comics that I can’t remember.. I thought he had great stage presence and a masterful delivery..Even when a joke bombed he still had a way of pulling it off. Very rare for a comic to pull off a bad joke.. Rest In peace Mitch!!!

I cried when he passed away, I balled my eyes out. He made me cry when he was up on stage, and he made me cry when he died. RIP Mitch, that man is probably the only comedian that always shut his eyes when he went out on stage, he drank vodka before it too. He said “It calms my nerves.” Then he said “Drinking is the only dissease I ever got yelled at for.” I just know he made into heaven :)
