		<description>NOT observing daylight Saving Time would make the sun dial one hour &quot;late&quot; if you were presently observing DST, which we are not, since it is February.

The web leads me to believe that San Francisco&#039;s solar noon should be about 10 minutes after PST.  (122.5 degrees west - 120th meridian * 4)

Anyway, I don&#039;t have a great view of the sun dial there and I don&#039;t know where in the shadow time is meant to be, but it looks like the sundial is roundabout 1pm, which is more or less correct.

Daylight Saving Time being, of course, a ridiculous sideshow that has nothing to do with correctly representing a notion of time, per usual.
