GAH!

Still porting old content over and have a ton of stuff to do before this site goes live (some time in August hopefully)…

0wnz0r3d!

Posted on July 20, 2004

Well, apparently my old provider got what we in the buidness call “teh 0wnz0r3d!!!!”. There was some IFRAME tag in a couple of my html files that got restored from the old server in California.

DNS Issues

Posted on July 19, 2004

I’ve been working through some unforeseen DNS issues getting the new site migrated. I’ve also been having a tad bit of trouble getting the CSS code exactly how I want it for the articles.

Site Update

Posted on July 11, 2004

Still some nonsense standing in the way of moving the site over:

  • Creating a sane CSS for the articles section
  • Backporting all the old entries into the mysql database.
  • XML, TXT, and ESF content_type interfaces
  • Better administration functionality

Categories

Posted on July 10, 2004

I added a category table and linked the news item to it. I’m now going through the arduous process of backporting categories to all the old news items.

More Fixes

Posted on July 08, 2004

I added a lot of fixes to the calendar plugin as well as a new “Next Gig” item on the navigation pane. In addition, I fixed the snif autoindex music page. Last but not least, I added an “Archive” section on the navigation pane to go backwards by month. I also have a yearly archive button, but I’ll likely put up a large archive page with different ways of viewing past content.

More Updates

Posted on July 07, 2004

Gah, I managed to get the calendar working as well as the interface into the mysql gig database. Also, I heavily tweaked the calendar css code as I didn’t like how the dates were lining in Firefox and IE. I think this website could perhaps go live this month.

Intraweb news

There’s _BIG_ changes getting ready to take place at involution.com. I’m working on a completely different layout engine. This site is still run by some custom PHP that managed to throw together sometime at the end of 2000. It’s been fairly static for sometime, however, I’ve been jonesin’ to whipout some CSS/XHTML action and integrate it somehow into my (lame) PHP/MySQL engine. I’ve been stealing ideas from Pybloxsom, MovableType, PHP Nuke, and Post Nuke to come up with some kind of different engine. I’m really happy with what I’ve done so far, but I’m still trying to make it better ™. I’m hoping to have the completed mostly by the end of the summmer, but it could be much sooner if I can whip out this PHP.
