Here’s a pretty whizband php application to configure Spamassassin. It also lists some other tools to setup in addition to SA to assist with your spam-blocking needs.

One thing that I use for combatting Spam is a bayesian classifier. Basically, it takes Spam that you recieve and trains the classifier to know when you are receiving Spam that meets your criteria as being Spam. A couple of people on IRC have asked for my Spam archive to train their classifiers. Here is my human-verified spam archive in bzipped mbox format containing 754 messages. There’s another archive of 458 messages here.

Bah, I’m at the Austin-Bergstrom airport right now on a wi-fi connection. Unfortunately, I had to pay $6.95 to get on, but still it’s pretty cool to be web browsing instead of giving dirty looks to people and generally being bored.

Firewall Rules v3.7

I updated my firewall rules again. I added another NIC to my firewall, so that changed things somewhat. As always, v3.6 is available for most everyone who has a dual-homed firewall.
