Leaked R300 Benchmarks
Retel.dk seems to have
posted some benchmarks for the R300.
2.4.19-rc4 Released
The 2.4.19-rc4 Linux Kernel was released today. Some are speculating that this will become 2.4.19 final. It’s about time too, 2.4.19 has been under developement since the end of February due to the fact that signifigant changes were made to the IDE code after the pre2 release.
W2K SP3 Released (Sort of)
It appears that W2K SP3 is downloadable from here although no volish announcements have been made. It’s a whopper though, weighing-in at 124 MB.
Curtie’s Webby Pagey
My buddy Curtis in Dayton, Ohio had his Ohio University Oak Account deleted after he graduated. He hasn’t bothered to put his web page back online since the deletion. The last time that archive.org mirrored his site was May 18, 2001. I think his account was deleted about a year ago. So, to a service to Curtis, here’s a counter that tells how long he has been offline.

Version 3.4 of my Famous Firewall Script is Released
Anders Ahl from IBM Global Services Sweden suggested an addition to my Firewall code. So, I just added it, and released v3.4 of the script.
LWN.net is Closing Down
LWN.net, one of my favorite web sites, is closing down next week. LWN was an awesome source of Linux kernel news and security updates, and will sorely be missed by me.
3dmark score for the Radeon 9700, New Intel Roadmap
Here’s the 3dmark 2001 benchmark for the Radeon 9700, and a new Intel Roadmap updated to include the release of the new 0.09 micron Prescott chips next year.
